Synopsis

In a Brazil where folklore creatures, monsters, and supernatural phenomena are real, legends are not merely stories told around campfires. They are part of the world—and when they emerge, they can destroy lives, cities, and entire communities. Standing between humanity and these threats is the Hunters' Association, an organization dedicated to investigating, containing, and confronting supernatural manifestations. João is experienced, taciturn, and seemingly impossible to kill. Victória, his young apprentice, is still discovering what it truly means to be a Hunter—and what lies beneath the surface of the man who chose to mentor her. With every case, the two encounter creatures that defy the stories they heard as children. Some are predators. Others are victims. Some follow rules of their own. And some seem to understand human beings better than humans understand themselves. In this world, a legend is not born simply when a monster appears. It is born when people begin to believe.
